LaMarcus Aldridge's First-Round DFS Preview
7 years agoSan Antonio Spurs center LaMarcus Aldridge, who played at the five for a career-high 62 percent of his minutes this season, has had some success in four meetings with the Golden State Warriors this season. In those games, the Spurs star averaged 26.8 points and 11 rebounds per contest, both higher marks than the 23.1 points and 8.5 rebounds per game that he averaged over 75 regular season games. With Kawhi Leonard unlikely to return for the series, the Spurs hopes will rest on Aldridge and his ability to shoulder the team's offensive load. He's shown this season that he can rise to the occasion against the Warriors, and the continued absence of Stephen Curry could help the Spurs keep pace with Golden State.
