6 years agoChicago Bulls forward Lauri Markkanen has continued to cool off since a hot streak in February when he was averaging around 26.5 points a game, posting his 5th straight performance below 19 points on Sunday. The Finish forward scored 17 points on Sunday, alongside six boards, two assists, one steal, and one block. The 17 points came on average shooting, as he connected on 6-for-13 from the field and 3-for-7 from deep. Markkanen and the Bulls take the court again on Tuesday evening against the Los Angeles Lakers, a team that should allow for him to try to bounce back as the Lakers are in the bottom half of the league in regards to points allowed per game.--Matthew.McGough
