The 23-year-old suffered the injury on Friday night against the Magic, with an MRI confirming the severity of the ailment. In his place, rookie Patrick Williams, who is averaging 10.5 points and 4.3 rebounds through 21 starts this year, should fill the void in the starting lineup moving ahead until Markkanen returns.
