3 years agoCleveland Cavaliers small forward Lauri Markkanen (ankle) has been cleared to suit up for Thursday's contest against the Pistons, although he will have his minutes restricted in his first game action since Jan. 22. The return comes at a crucial time for the Cavs, who will be down Caris LeVert (foot) and Darius Garland (back) in the short term. Prior to being injured, Markkanen had begun to find a rhythm from the field, shooting 55.6% overall and 50% from three-point range over his last seven outings. Averaging 13.6 points and 5.3 boards per game, Markkanen can come off the waiver wire in all formats where he remains available.--Jesse Borek
