5 years agoChicago Bulls power forward Lauri Markkanen is likely set to miss Monday’s contest versus the Dallas Mavericks due to a sprained left ankle. Markkanen, who has earned a doubtful designation, has started every game thus far in 2019-20 for Chicago, with his absence likely providing a path to more minutes for Thaddeus Young. Also likely to benefit from a fantasy perspective of Markkanen being on the sidelines is Zach LaVine, who should see an even more enormous offensive workload. Barring a complete reversal of fortunes, Markkanen’s next best chance at suiting up comes Wednesday against New Orleans.--Jesse Borek
