LeBron James Likely To Miss More Time
3 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (knee) flew back to Los Angeles to receive treatment this weekend. The knee injury appears to be worse than the organization originally thought. An MRI revealed general soreness and head coach Frank Vogel has not given a timetable on James return. "As long as the swelling is there, he is going to be out," Vogel said. The Lakers just finished their six-game road trip. They have a home matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday. It seems highly unlikely that James will be able to suit up for that game. Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook will be asked to carry the load on offense. Malik Monk, Carmelo Anthony, and Talen Horton-Tucker will see increased roles off the bench. Monk is looking like the best fantasy option out of the three. He played well on Sunday and could be someone worth monitoring in fantasy formats while James is out.
