LeBron James Records 30-Point Triple-Double In 28 Minutes
6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers small forward LeBron James saw his minutes monitored during Saturday’s loss to the Boston Celtics, but that didn’t keep him from logging his seventh triple-double of the season. Even without a plethora of his usual teammates, James finished with 30 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds. The death knell is nearing its final tune on the Lakers’ playoff hopes, which could lead to a diminished role for James down the stretch, even if that doesn’t rule out that he’ll still manage to record better than a point per minute on some occasions. With his 30-point showing, James is averaging 29.3 points per game versus the Celtics for his career, his highest total against any opponent.
