LeBron James Sinks Buzzer-Beater Against 'Wolves
7 years agoCleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James led his team to a narrow 140-138 overtime win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night. James played 48 solid minutes, scoring 37 points on 16-for-22 shooting from the field in addition to the game-winning shot that snapped the team's two-game skid. He also contributed 15 assists and 10 boards to cap off a solid night overall for the King. James has played well for the most part this season and has entered the MVP conversation once again. He has an impressive usage rate of 32.8 percent and has benefited greatly from the loss of forward Kevin Love (hand), who is anticipated to be out for a few months. James and company will head to Atlanta to meet up with the struggling Hawks on Friday, a defensively inefficient team that is allowing 40.2 points per game to opposing small forwards. With a projected pace of 102.4, James could easily have a repeat performance against one of the worst teams in the league.
