2 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (abdominal) will miss at least a week of action, per Shams Charania of The Athletic. James has already dealt with an ankle injury and now has an abdominal strain, with Charania reporting that the Lakers want to be cautious with their star early on in the season. The King's absence should mean heavy usage for Russell Westbrook, who has enjoyed some of his better games with James out of the lineup. Role players such as Kent Bazemore and Malik Monk could also see an increase in shot attempts.--Tim Capurso
