3 years agoLee Westwood will enter this week still on the quest for his first major victory. He finished 3rd at the US Open at Torrey Pines in 2008 but has just two other starts at this venue. Westwood had back-to-back runner-up finishes earlier this season but has missed three cuts in seven starts since then. His inconsistent approach shots and poor scrambling does not set up well for success at the US Open. Westwood is certainly capable of competing, but he carries a lot of risk this week. --Connor Wege
