4 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Lewis Brinson is expected to be called up from the alternate site before Tuesday's game. With Starling Marte (rib) heading to the injured list, the Marlins need another outfielder up, and Brinson appears to be the choice. He and Magneuris Sierra will likely split time in center field, although Jon Berti is expected to mix in as well. It's a huge loss for the Marlins, as Marte was off to an excellent start. Brinson made some strides in the abbreviated 2020 season, but time is certainly running out for the former top prospect. This could be his last chance to show that he can hit big league pitching.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
