6 years agoAtlanta Falcons tight end Logan Paulsen had one reception for seven yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday. Paulsen has been competing with Eric Saubert for the second tight end spot in preseason. While Saubert had a longer reception (44-yards), Paulsen's reception was from a Matt Ryan pass. That is a good indication that Paulsen is the first choice as the second tight end in the first-team offense. It may be that Paulsen needs to impress in the fourth preseason game to cement the spot but for now it should be assumed he is the second tight end in this offense. However, even as the second tight end he does not have much fantasy value given the depth of receiving options in this offense.--Ben Rolfe
