Logan Webb Does It All Thursday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Logan Webb had a great overall game in Thursday's 7-0 win over the Rockies. Webb pitched 6 scoreless innings, allowing just three hits and two walks with eight strikeouts. He also helped his cause by going 1-for-2 with a single that just missed being a grand slam and two RBI. The 24-year-old has turned in a stellar season to this point, compiling a 2.96 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and 26% strikeout rate. He started off the season slowly, but has been a huge fantasy surprise since. His next start will be against the Mets at home. At this point, fantasy managers can feel comfortable starting Webb in most matchups given how he has performed.
