Logan Webb Pitches Gem Thursday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Logan Webb played a large role in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Brewers, snapping the team's four-game losing streak. Webb pitched 7 innings, allowing a single run on four hits and a walk with 10 strikeouts. The 24-year-old has been fantastic this season, going 8-3 with a 2.56 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, and 27% strikeout rate. He has been a huge fantasy value this season and has earned the right to be started in the fantasy playoffs. His next start will be against the Rockies on the road. While the environment is tough, Webb has pitched too well to consider benching unless fantasy managers happen to have a ton of pitching options.
