2 years agoSan Francisco Giants starter Logan Webb came away with the win in his latest outing against the Oakland Athletics on Sunday. The veteran threw seven innings and scattered four hits, three walks, and a pair of earned runs. He also struck out five batters on the day. Overall, Webb threw 97 pitches and generated 13 swinging strikes. He also turned in a 28% CSW rate. The 25-year-old is in the midst of another quality season on the mound, In 142 innings this year, the starter now owns a 3.17 ERA, a 3.32 FIP, and 115 strikeouts.
