Lonnie Walker IV Goes For 20 Points In Summer League Opener
5 years agoSan Antonio Spurs shooting guard Lonnie Walker IV dropped 20 points on 8-for-12 shooting during Monday’s Summer League opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Walker was the game’s leading scorer, as well as tying for the team high in rebounds with seven. Walker had his rookie season delayed by injury last year, which limited him to 17 games down the stretch with just 6.9 minutes played per contest. Heading into his age-21 campaign, Walker will look to crack the Spurs’ rotation with regularity moving forward, but appears to be the primary go-to option during Summer League out of the chute.
