7 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball continues to impress, as his across-the-board contributions could be sneaky league winner on many teams. There was a cause for concern earlier in the season in when most owners were hesitant to gamble on the hyped rookie, but he's emerged as a bargain at his average draft position of 57 this year. Ball finished Wednesday's win over the Magic with 16 points, six boards and five assists, and the steals continue to be there (2.8 per game over the last five) for the lengthy, tall point guard. He wasn't shy Wednesday, as he attempted 16 shots, which is an encouraging sign for his value. Ball connected on four triples Wednesday and is now shooting a league-high 58 percent from three-point range over the past month. Ball has flirted with top-15 numbers over the past two months in nine-category leagues. The hype is starting to be justified.--Dicky Fung
