4 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point guard Lonzo Ball was in a triple-double mood on Tuesday against Atlanta but narrowly missed out on it, finishing a 123-107 loss with 12 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds. He also put in a nice shift defensively by getting three steals and two blocks. Ball made a career-high eight triples in Sunday's win over Houston and tried to repeat the performance against the Hawks, but he started out horribly from three-point range and ended up 4-for-14 shooting from downtown. He attempted only one two-pointer, which he missed. Ball has now recorded 10-plus three-point attempts in three straight games, which is an interesting development. He should have no trouble getting looks in Wednesday's matchup against the Nets, who are ranked 25th in defensive efficiency.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
