6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball had a brutal night against the stingy Memphis defense Saturday. In 23 minutes of action, Ball shot 2-for-9 from the field, giving him just four points, two assists and two steals, failing to record a rebound for the first time all season. Ball had posted his first double-double of the season Friday, thus succinctly continuing what has been an up-and-down campaign even with Rajon Rondo, and now Brandon Ingram, on the shelf, seemingly leading to what should be increased opportunities. He’s still worth heavy fantasy consideration moving forward, but performances like Saturday will linger.--Jesse Borek
