Lonzo Ball Records Double-Double on Sunday
7 years agoLos Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball recorded a double-double in the solid win over the Atlanta Hawks. Ball played 30 minutes, scoring 13 points on a Lonzo-like 5-for-13 from the field in addition to going 3-for-9 from behind three-point land. However, he made up for his routine shooting woes by recording 10 boards, dishing out six assists and capturing one steal in the lopsided victory. Despite appearing relatively free of any lingering effects from the shoulder issue that kept him out for six games, his minutes may continue to be unofficially restricted by head coach Luke Walter. Nonetheless, he stays active while on the court and can get a lot done in what he is allotted minutes wise and also appears to remain unphased by the off the court antics of his father. Ball should continue to improve, but his weak field goal percentage will likely be a drag for the remainder of the season and possibly beyond.
