5 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point guard Lonzo Ball will officially be out of the mix for Wednesday’s contest against the Los Angeles Lakers due to an illness. Ball’s absence likely opens the door for Nickeil Alexander-Walker to see an additional workload off the bench, while Jrue Holiday should handle the vast majority of ball-handling duties. Ball missed six games earlier in the month and has come off the bench since his return. His next chance at suiting up comes Friday against Oklahoma City.--Jesse Borek
