5 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball scored 23 points with five assists, two rebounds, two triples, and two steals in a 123-113 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. Ball missed the first game against the Lakers and played admirably in his first chance at revenge against his former employer. The 22-year-old has turned up his play in the last two games, with averages of 25 points, 7.5 assists, 6.0 rebounds, 4.5 triples, and 2.0 steals on 56.3 percent shooting from the field and 43.5 percent shooting from deep. Ball will look to stay hot on Saturday against the Kings, the slowest-paced team in the NBA.
