Lonzo Ball To Have Free Reign For Foreseeable Future
6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball will see plenty of playing time in the coming weeks as Rajon Rondo is expected to be out until February after undergoing surgery on his hand. Ball has played pretty well the past two games with Rondo sitting out as he has scored 39 points, doled out 18 assists and grabbed 14 rebounds while committing six turnovers. The 21-year-old has made 15 of 29 shots from the field, including seven of 14 from beyond the arc, over this two-game stretch. He has scored in double-figures 14 of his 18 times when he has played at least 30 minutes this season. The second-year pro should be among the players fantasy owners consider in DFS on Sunday against the Kings. Ball, who nearly produced a triple-double against Sacramento on Thursday, is averaging 12 points, eight assists and six rebounds against the Kings in two games.
