7 years agoLos Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams recorded his fourth game with 20-plus points in last five outings on Saturday, finishing with 24 points against the Nuggets in 31 minutes, shooting a pretty poor 6-for-15 from the floor, but putting in some serious work on the free throw line, nailing 10 of 12 attempts. Williams also did well from downtown, going 2-for-3. He added five assists, which is his highest total since March 25. The Clippers took their fourth loss in last five games, which means that they are eliminated from the playoff race. That could lead to Sweet Lou's role changing in the final games, with the team possibly wanting to have look at younger players.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
