Lou Williams Pumped In A Season-High 36 Points
6 years agoLos Angeles Clippers shooting guard/point guard Lou Williams scored 23 of his season-high 36 points in the second half of Friday's victory over the Lakers. The 6-foot-1 combo guard was 11-for-18 from the field, including 3-for-3 from beyond the arc, and 11-for-11 from the free throw line. He also had seven rebounds and three assists along with just one turnover in 31 minutes off the bench. It was his fourth 20-point game in the past five outings. The 32-year-old has been lighting it up in December, averaging 19.5 points,1.5 three-pointers, and 6.5 assists while shooting 52.5 percent from the field as well as 55.6 percent from beyond the arc. Williams will look to continue to keep things going against the Spurs on Saturday. The 14th-year pro had 23 points, three rebounds and two assists in an earlier matchup versus San Antonio in Los Angeles, which is where tonight's game is.
