5 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Luis Castillo had a mediocre outing on Sunday against the Cardinals, pitching six innings and allowing five hits, three walks and three earned runs while striking out eight. Castillo earned his third straight win and improved to 14-5 on the year. Castillo has struggled a bit in the past month, despite continuing to earn victories. His ERA has raised from 2.63 at the start of August to 3.25 now. He's still easily a top-30 starting pitcher going forward, arguably top-20. Keep putting him in your lineup with confidence.
