5 years agoLos Angeles Angels second baseman Luis Rengifo was optioned to Triple-A after Wednesday's game. Rengifo hit just .147/.231/.265 in 11 games in his first MLB stint this season. Never a top 100 prospect, Rengifo is merely depth for the Angels and was not going to offer any fantasy value even if he had remained with the club. He has little dynasty value either. The corresponding move appears to be Kole Calhoun's activation from the Paternity List.--Nathaniel Green
