3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert (leg) was removed late in Wednesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. Robert appeared to injure his leg in the sixth inning when he hit an RBI single. However, he remained in the game for a few innings prior to being removed in the eighth inning. The White Sox were down 9-2 when Robert was removed, so manager Tony La Russa may have just wanted to be extra cautious with him in a game the team was losing badly. Robert was 1-for-3 in the game prior to exiting. We should know more about the reason for his departure soon.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
