3 years agoSeattle Mariners catcher Luis Torrens hit his 10th home run of the year Sunday, giving him the third-most on the team in just 161 at-bats. He also walked in four plate appearances against the Los Angeles Angels. With Evan White on the shelf for the year, Torrens stands to receive playing time at first base in addition to at catcher and designated hitter going forward.
