3 years agoSeattle Mariners catcher Luis Torrens added another home run to his total Tuesday night, hitting his 14th long ball off of Texas Rangers relief pitcher Brett Martin in a 3-1 victory. Torrens went 2-for-4 in the game while batting seventh as the designated hitter. He now has a modest five-game hitting streak going, with seven hits, including a double and two home runs, in his last 18 at-bats. Torrens doesn't offer a very strong batting average, with a .220 number for the year, but he offers plenty of pop to catcher-desperate fantasy managers.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
