3 years agoSeattle Mariners catcher Luis Torrens has found his way into some playing time since being called back up from Triple-A Tacoma on June 15, and he continued to contribute on Thursday, going 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored. He's now reached base in eight of his last nine games. Torrens can be a sink in the batting average department, as he's hitting just .209 for the season, but he has plenty to offer with home runs, having hit nine in just 139 at-bats. As long as he's in the lineup regularly, that will play in two-catcher formats.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
