3 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic continued his regular-season domination during Friday's win over Portland, needing only 30 minutes of action to log a 39-point, 11-rebound double-double. With the Mavericks cruising to a 50-point victory, Doncic wasn't needed for much more than what he provided, which also included seven assists and seven made triples. The 23-year-old has taken his offensive game to another level since the All-Star break, averaging 30.5 PPG across 20 contests, all while shooting 47.5% overall with an increased usage and offensive rating from his 44 outings in the first half. During Friday's outing, he received his 16th technical foul of the season, which comes with the caveat of a one-game suspension. Unless rescinded, Doncic will be unavailable for Sunday's season finale vs. the Spurs.--Jesse Borek
