5 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard/small forward Luka Doncic needed just 30 minutes to collect a gaudy stat line of 31 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds during Saturday’s win over the Golden State Warriors. Doncic wasn’t even needed much down the stretch, yet he managed to tie his season high in assists and log his first triple-double since Dec. 12. After posting a monster triple-double versus the Warriors earlier in the year, Doncic was back at it again with five made triples and a perfect 10-for-10 showing from the free-throw stripe Saturday. He will draw a more difficult matchup on the second leg of a back-to-back Sunday versus the Lakers, even as he has recorded double-doubles in each of his last two meetings against the team.--Jesse Borek
