6 years agoDallas Mavericks small forward Luka Doncic finished Monday's 114-112 road loss with a career-high 34 points, including seven three-pointers, while adding three assists and two rebounds over his 34 minutes. It was an entertaining duel between the up-and-coming rookie and All-Star Anthony Davis, who needed every one of his 48 points to help his team stave off the first-year player. Doncic ended up hitting 10-for-16 from the field, and perhaps the only complaint by fantasy owners would be his 7-for-13 night from the free-throw stripe. He'll look to stay hot in Sunday's home battle against Oklahoma City.--Daniel Dobish
