6 years agoDallas Mavericks guard/forward Luka Doncic came just a rebound shy of recording his first career triple-double Wednesday versus the New Orleans Pelicans. Despite that, it was a masterful performance from the 19-year-old, who logged 21 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds after starting as the de facto point guard. Despite no makes from three, Wednesday marked the second straight double-double for Doncic, who is seemingly just reaching his peak. He gets another fast-paced match-up against New Orleans come Friday when the two teams run it back.--Jesse Borek
