5 years agoDallas Mavericks guard/forward Luka Doncic played through a thumb injury that has bothered him since last week, yet he still managed to provide a huge triple-double in the four-point win over the Pelicans. Doncic scored 30 points on nine of 20 shooting and added 17 rebounds with 10 assists, but he did commit seven turnovers in this one. He underwent an X-ray after the game, which came back negative. That is a major positive for owners after he converted his 14th triple-double of the season, but we can assume the thumb will still cause him some issues at times going forward.--Gianni Costantiello
