5 years agoDallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic fell two assists short of a triple-double in the 138-122 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night. Doncic was held out the entire fourth quarter but still recorded a stat line of 24 points, 14 rebounds, eight assists, and two steals. It was only the second time all season that the sophomore didn't eclipse the 25-point barrier, but sitting out an entire quarter will do that. Doncic is averaging 27.6 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 9.1 assists through nine games, and those rumblings that he would become a future MVP may be coming true sooner rather than later. The Mavericks play three games in Week 4, and fantasy managers should continue to ride Doncic moving forward.--Euan Leith
