6 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard/small forward Luka Doncic was held to 2-for-8 shooting overall in Wednesday’s loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. Doncic finished with eight points, six assists and four rebounds in a season-low 22 minutes. His performance marks just his second single-digit scoring performance, albeit his second in his last three games. Doncic missed a game earlier in the week with a hip issue and was playing the second leg of a back-to-back Wednesday, so owners hope that the rookie phenom was just worn down. He returns to the floor Saturday for a match-up against the Houston Rockets.--Jesse Borek
