Luka Doncic Sets Dallas Single-Season Record
5 years agoDallas Mavericks budding superstar Luka Doncic had his 10th triple-double of the season on Saturday night. His 10 triple-doubles are the most in a single season for a Dallas player, and the 20-year-old just continues to wow at every opportunity. In the 123-120 overtime loss to the Charlotte Hornets, Doncic had 39 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists and two steals. The second-year guard is averaging 23.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.3 assists over his last six games, and somehow those numbers are all below his season averages. It seems crazy to say that he is in a slump, but it just speaks to the incredible production we expect from Doncic on a nightly basis that those numbers are even considered disappointing.
