6 years agoDallas Mavericks guard/forward Luka Doncic nearly delivered a game-winning dunk Thursday against the Denver Nuggets before losing on a last-second shot. Doncic came just an assist shy of his fifth career triple-double, finishing with 24 points, 11 rebounds and nine dimes. The performance was equally impressive considering it was on the heels of a woeful outing Tuesday versus San Antonio (1-for-9 from the free-throw line, nine turnovers). Doncic seems to only be getting more comfortable as the season goes on, making him an elite fantasy asset for the season’s final month, next facing the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday, whom he scorched for 35 points back on Feb. 2.--Jesse Borek
