5 years agoDallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic started his second season on the right foot with 34 points and nine rebounds against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday. The 2019 Rookie of the Year went 12-for-19 from the field and 4-for-9 from behind the arc. Doncic also chipped in three assists and two steals but will need to look after the ball better after turning it over six times. The 20-year-old led the team in minutes and field-goal attempts, and fantasy owners should expect more of the same going forward. He has the New Orleans Pelicans and Portland Trail Blazers to close out the week, so owners should expect fiercer competition over the weekend.--Euan Leith
