6 years agoDallas Mavericks small forward Luka Doncic was used as the starting small forward in Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers as the team welcomed back Dennis Smith Jr. from a six-game absence. Doncic managed 17 points, seven rebounds and six assists with a steal and a blocked shot, but he was just 5-for-15 from the floor and 0-for-8 from behind the three-point line. Doncic has emerged as a star for the Mavs, and it's part of the reason DSJ seems to want out of Big D. Chalk this up as just one poor shooting night. He is a fantasy must-start and tremendous play in most formats.--Daniel Dobish
