4 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic finished with a game-high 27 points against the Miami Heat on Friday. Doncic shot 9-for-22 from the field and added 15 rebounds, seven assists, three three-pointers and a block in 36 minutes. Doncic's shooting has been underwhelming so far as he had huge expectations coming into the season. However, it is more likely that Doncic is just in a shooting slump and should bounce back sooner rather than later. Doncic was 2-for-21 from three coming into this game so this should be encouraging. Doncic and the Mavericks have a back-to-back set up next against the Chicago Bulls and Houston Rockets Sunday and Monday, respectively.
