Luke Kennard Has Another 24-Point Performance
5 years agoDetroit Pistons point/shooting guard Luke Kennard has reaped the benefits over the past two games of the team’s backcourt depth being annihilated by injuries. Kennard went for 24 points on 6-for-12 shooting Monday versus Washington, raising his season scoring average to 17.4 points per game through his first eight contests. After opening the year on the bench, the third-year sharpshooter appears to have made his claim to remaining in the starting five long-term. With no true point guard available for the time being, Kennard added five assists Monday and has dished out an average of 3.9 per contest to this point, giving him at least short-term value in any sized fantasy format, as well as DFS.
