Luke Kennard Drops 24 Points In Career-High-Tying 37 Minutes
5 years agoDetroit Pistons shooting guard/small forward Luke Kennard was tasked with tying his career high of 37 minutes Saturday against the Brooklyn Nets and he utilized that time on the floor to log 24 points on 8-for-19 shooting, including going 3-for-7 from long range. The sharpshooter has seen his performance fluctuate early on in the year, but with the trio of Reggie Jackson, Derrick Rose and Tim Frazier all sidelined versus Brooklyn, Kennard was handed an enormous workload, one that should continue moving forward should the Pistons remain desperately thin in the backcourt. The third-year wing also added four assists and three rebounds to pad his stat sheet.
