Luke Maile Sitting Out Thursday
2 years agoCleveland Guardians catcher Luke Maile is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Minnesota Twins. With Austin Hedges on the injured list, Maile has become Cleveland's primary backstop, but he'll take a seat after starting each of the last two games. The 31-year-old should only be an option for fantasy managers in desperate need of a warm body at the position in two-catcher leagues, as he's hitting just .179 with no home runs and five RBI in 67 at-bats on the season. Sandy Leon will take over behind the dish and bat eighth on Thursday against Twins right-hander Chris Archer. Leon is a DFS option to avoid. He's only played in two games for Cleveland this year and has gone 0-for-3.
