3 years agoSan Diego Padres first baseman Luke Voit (biceps) is back with the team in San Diego. According to AJ Cassavell of MLB.com, he will be taking live at-bats at Petco Park this week and there's hope that he could be activated on Friday, ahead of the team's three-game road series against the Atlanta Braves. Voit has been out since April 22 due to a biceps injury. However, Voit stated this weekend that the injury has "essentially subsided entirely." The 31-year-old slugger struggled out of the gate this year prior to the injury.
