6 years agoThe Miami Marlins will call up outfielder Magneuris Sierra from the minors on Tuesday to replace outfielder Garrett Cooper (hand) on the roster. Sierra came over to Miami in the deal that sent Marcell Ozuna to the Cardinals in the offseason. In 86 games for Triple-A New Orleans in 2018, Sierra has hit .260/.287/.341 with only two home runs, 17 RBI and 14 stolen bases. He has struck out 73 times and walked just 13 times. It remains to be seen if Sierra will see enough playing time to be relevant in deep mixed leagues, but Lewis Brinson remains on the disabled list.
