Malcolm Brogdon Will Miss At Least Six More Games
3 years agoIndiana Pacers point guard Malcolm Brogdon (Achilles) has been shut down for the next 10 days in order to continue rehabbing his sore right Achilles. Indiana is set for six contests in that span, with Keifer Sykes the short-term beneficiary of Brogdon's absence. Brogdon has battled the Achilles ailment for more than a month, having appeared in just three games since Dec. 15. His numbers have taken a slight dip this season, although he has been a solid source of production at 18.5 points, 5.9 assists, and 5.1 boards per contest. Without him in the mix, Caris LeVert, Chris Duarte, Lance Stephenson, and Duane Washington Jr. are all likely to take on elevated ball-handling duties, thereby increasing their DFS and season-long viability for the time being.
