Malcolm Brogdon Won’t Return To Friday’s Game
5 years agoIndiana Pacers point/shooting guard Malcolm Brogdon has been ruled out for the remainder of Friday’s contest versus the Houston Rockets due to a sore lower back. Prior to his departure, Brogdon logged nine minutes and finished with two points, four assists and one rebound. On the whole, it has been a breakout campaign for Brogdon to kick off 2019-20, entering play Friday averaging 20.7 points and 8.5 assists per contest. With fellow backcourt mate Jeremy Lamb (ankle) also sidelined, Indiana will likely lean heavily on the Holiday brothers, Aaron and Justin, to take their place. Brogdon’s next chance to return to action comes Saturday versus Milwaukee.
